Trip to Heber Valley Utah

WOW! I can't believe it is already July. This summer is just flying by. I am in the middle of a ton of painting projects. Painting my living room, my china cabinet, a desk and two end tables, plus painting my mom's house. Is there such a thing as painter arm because, if so, I am sure that is what I am suffering from right now. There is only about a month left before the deadline to Memory Makers Master contest and I still have not got things together to submit to the magazine. I have all my ideas on paper but, have yet to get my scrap pages put together. The last few days I have been working on some new clay characters in between painting jobs and nap time. I am so badly hoping I can have some inventory for the local fall craft show. Yes, I have been trying to get as much done as possible this summer. It is a good thing to have the older kids home right now because, they help to entertain the little ones, which is nice.
We went to Utah last week to visit my family mostly, my dad. It was a great trip and I really wish we did not come home so quickly. Once we were home we had something bad happen to one of my kids. Really, don't want to go to any detail but, it has been hard to get back in the swing of things. I am really having a hard time with this. Thinking we will now be staying around home for the rest of July. We will be postponing our trip to South Dakota until next summer. This might be a good thing. We are thinking of maybe taking a longer trip and going to Yellowstone also. You can probably tell we really enjoyed our time through Wyoming. We saw some amazing wild life on our trip to Utah. There was a mountain lion, a long horn sheep, elk, and of course tons of antelope, just to name a few. If only we saw a bear our trip would have been complete. I guess if you count stopping at the Sidney Nebraska Cabelas than yes we saw some bears. I already miss the mountains. Nothing bad on Nebraska but, this is not my choice place to live and once you get beyond the state line I remember what else is out there and how gorgeous everything is. Now, don't get me wrong if you enjoy unpredictable weather, and love the sight of corn fields and the smell of cows than, Nebraska probably is the place for you. I guess there is one thing about Nebraska that I really love and that is the sunsets and fireflies.
Stay tune for my July Random thoughts and hope y'all continue to have a great summer.
Rhonda
