Went to church today even after canning corn. I didn't get to bed until very late last night. After church we went over to my mom's and had lunch which seems to be some what of a tradition. My mom went to a lot of trouble today. She had all her fancy china set out for me and the kids. She says it won't ever get used if we don't use it for everyday things. There was my mom's instrumental music playing and she danced with the kids. It brought tears to my eyes while I watched her hold Christyn in her arms and circle about. It was almost angelic. Christyn had her tiny little hands placed on my mom's shoulders ever so gently. The other three kids danced around her. I'm sure I will treasure that moment for the rest of my life. I wish I had my camera ready for moments like that.
My mom and sister are coming out tomorrow to help can pears. With all the help it will take half the time. I sure do appreciate all the help canning this year. It's kind-of nice having people around and working together. Until tomorrow then.
Can't stop dreaming of our rooms downstairs. I wonder if I get any work done down there this week.
