Surgery day

Liz had her tonsils taken out today. She did a wonderful job. I was so very proud of her. What a tough little one she is. A friend of ours (Susie and Kids) from church stopped by during surgery to bring her a get well gift. The stuffed puppy featured in the photo. I don't know if they even know how much she loves puppies. They look like the perfect match for each other. She has carried that thing everywhere with her today. I sure hope all this helps her get a much better nights rest. She had a ton of calls when we got home today. There are lots of people out there that really love and care for her. I hope she sees that. The other 3 kids stayed at my in-laws last night. I sure missed them. This was the first time I ever left Christyn over night. It was really hard for me not to have the kids here. I am totally happy they are all home tonight and I am sure we will all get a much better sleep tonight. I'm definitely lacking the energy these days. I hope I can get a boost to help me get through this weekend and finish Liz's room.
