Today was a much better day. My husband mowed the lawn YAY!!!! Got a ton of cleaning done.
The laundry is yet to be conqured but it is on my to do list next week. My Sis and Mom came over to hang out today. It was about 100 degrees today and so we decided to swim a little. I still can't believe they got in the pool. We all got some needed sunshine and cooled off a bit too.
My Rachael sang you are my sunshine to grandma....and it goes a little something like this

These are her own lyrics of course. I think grandma got a good laugh out of it.
We fired up the bar-b and had a feast of grilled veggies,pineapple, shrimp and a few dogs for the kids. Oh! how I enjoy these simple, laid-back days. Life is so sweet when you can share it with the ones you love. And it helps having a few extra hands around to hold the little ones and help in the kitchen. Thanks mom and Rayna for an awesome day.
